I took it to a computer technician with the previous problem of going to coloured screen with wavy lines thinking that it might be caused by overheating and it didn't happen once whilst he had it! He said that may have been cos it was cold in his workshop and wanted to charge me £30 to service it, I didn't want to pay to have it serviced though if it wasn't going to solve the problem.
