The hard drive that was in it went bad so we replaced it with a maxtor 15 gig. The system came with just a restore disk for the modem, sound card, nic card and supposedly the video card. All the other drivers worked when I put them on the new hard drive with WinME except the video drivers.

The research I found plus the drivers on the disk point the video as the Sis530 but the computer will only allow the Standard AP drivers to load and will only show as 16 colors. I have downloaded drivers from SIS Corp but all that happens it an error saying that the drivers are not recommended for the hardware.

I wondered if I flashed the bios to the original for the board instead of the one Compaq put in if that would do any good. Download Suara Mobil Pemadam Kebakaran on this page. When I turn my laptop on it has a black screen that said no recovery partition. What does that mean? What do I do. I used the laptop for 6 months after it was bought for me for college, and it crashed. I was never able to see my home screen (with the files and intent access, and etc.

The stupid Hp techs said there’s nothing they can do. I haven’t used my computer in a year and half after it crashed. I don’t want to throw it away. It’s partially new! 6 months of use that’s it.
