Pull the feed tensioning lever to the rear of the magazine. Free Download Beckman Coulter Cell Counter Manual Programs For Weddings here. It is located on the side of the magazine near the top and moves forward and backward. It will latch when it is pulled all the way to the rear. Loading staples is obvious - just like an office stapler. But the brads (nails) are different and it is not apparent until its done. Lay the nail clip with points facing down along the side of the magazine on the side opposite of the sight window.

Mine is labelled ' load nails this side'. The magazine will hold two nail clips. Move the tensioning lever release at the rear of the magazine to release the lever and allow it to move forward.

The tensioner will slide forward along side the nail clip. Sample Violin Recital Program Pictures there. At the same time, the load slot on the top of the magazine will close and the nailer is ready for use. First, unplug the stapler.

Second, push down on the little red stem that sticks out of the lower rear of the stapler. Pull on that same stem so that the shiny metal cover on the bottom retracts. Turn the stapler upside down. Insert staples (still attached to one another) into the groove on the bottom of the stapler (now facing upward since you are holding it upside down). The staples should have their crowns (the flat part) deepest into the groove (and thus their points outward).

Release the stem so that the shiny metal cover returns all the way back into the stapler (covering up the staples you inserted). Pull down and back on the black plastic knob at the rear bottom of the stapler, then slide out the loading bar as far as it will go (doesn't come all the way out).

Insert the new staples (type T-50) up through the slot in the bottom of the stapler (easier if gun is upside down) with staple prongs aiming out of bottom of gun, then slide the loading bar all the way back in until you feel the black knob click into place. The new staples now are captured (won't fall out of the bottom), and the new string of staples are automatically preloaded to feed properly. Brads (proper sized) are loaded the same way, only along just one side of the slot in the bottom (there is a picture of a brad on each side of the stapler showing which side is the proper side to locate when loading). The loading bar captures and feeds the string of brads just like the staples.

I also have this stapler (68514) and cannot figure out how to load the brad nails. (9/16 inch) I printed out the image above, but figure 4 which shows the insertion of the brads shows them going into a very wide slot that they fall all around in. If you just try to have faith that that could possibly work and slide the slide forward, the row of brads just gets crunched up. There is no obvious slot to hold the nails.

I have talked to 6 sears/craftsman people on the phone already, and none of them can find a manual. I went to Sears and Home depot to show my stapler to the sales people, and nobody could figure out how to do this.

I have searched online for manuals. I really really hope you can help me!

Thanks, Jimmy. I did get my problem solved - by my husband, who studied your diagram. He tucked the brads tight to the left side of the slot (with the stapler upside down; it would be the right side with the staple right side up), and it worked! I am wondering about the strip issue though, as I haven't seen those. The brads I have and the ones I've seen at the stores here (San Francisco Bay area) don't have a strip, but are very lightly 'glued' together in a row.

I sure do appreciate your help, as I hate to lose a usable tool, even one as humble (but functional!) as this one is.
